Nov 06, 2003 · Sensor tells computer if it is working. This one was stuck closed. Dug out the carbon, removed the sensor, 3 small screws. Had to tap on the plunger with a small punch to free it up. Put the sensor back on, used a small piece of tube so I could suck a vacuum on it to withdraw the plunger all of the way and dug out as much carbon as possible. If torque signal fluid builds up too much pressure (tune. Worn valve. Epc, etc) then it will unseat the trans go ball and exhaust the fluid. This way you don't build up too much pressure and blow out snap rings or seals etc. Transmission Throws Fluid Out of Fill Tube and/or Breather: 1. Dipstick loose. 1. Tighten cap. Turned out that there was a thermostat in the transmission cooler, which had attracted some frags of metal. These frags blocked up the themostat and cause it to jam shut. The oil heated and expanded, and yet withouth the thermostat opening, it never had anywhere to go and spewed forth from the filler tube.

The pressure you are attributing to a PCV issue would blow up the balloon almost instantly, but if not then forget that scenario. Assuming that is the case (balloon test passed) than what is the next hypothesis?
